This weekend I showed my work at the ApolloCon Art Show (one of my favorite venues)! For those of you that love reading science fiction, fantasy, or steampunk this is definitely a convention to try out. Here are some of the highlights:
The Art Show! This year I did a lot of tinkering with chain and chainmaille. I had a lot of fun learning to work with various metals and it gave me a lot of inspiration for future bellydance and cosplay designs.
La Madama Handmade Dolls were also in the house. I can’t get enough of these gorgeous, custom dolls. Every one of them is made with love.
Tim Griffin of Griffin Education Solutions was the musical guest of honor this year. His organization creates FREE science, history, and math songs for children in K-12. My family is still singing the one about backbones. (Seriously, check this guy out. So much fun).
I can’t wait until next year!
